 Comprehensive Psychological Assessments

Dr. Gluck will assess how you process information, uncover possible learning issues and identify any mood concerns that may impair your ability to think and learn. Testing is an extremely useful tool to better understand your behavior, intelligence, personality traits, mental health, and cognitive strengths & weaknesses. Assessments and evaluations are tailored to your specific needs.

  • ADD/ADHD can be the cause of challenges in work/school and can cause you to struggle with your performance, productivity, and even in relationships with teachers or supervisors.

  • Learning disorders are neurological conditions that are not a reflection of the effort you put into your work/school. You are not lazy or unmotivated, you simply learn differently than other people. Diagnosis of a learning disorder through neuropsychological testing will allow us to help your teachers or professors support you in the best way possible.

  • Getting diagnosed with a neuropsychological condition which slows down your processing speed and performance or impacts your ability to focus, may result in being given varying accommodations to support you in work or school settings (i.e., extended time for exams or completion of tasks).

  • If you are diagnosed with a condition which creates challenges in performance you may be eligible for extra time when taking the SAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT, LSAT, DAT, MCAT, or USMLE.

  • Pre-surgical evaluations are often required before many procedures for two reasons: 1) insurance companies require them to ensure that patients are mentally prepared for surgery, and 2) psychological evaluations can help identify ways to improve your recovery post-surgery.

This evaluation will consist of a thorough clinical interview as well as administration of psychological tests to understand your current level of psychological functioning.

Types of surgeries that may require this type of evaluation: bariatric surgery, cosmetic surgery, & organ transplant surgery.

  • Pre-adoptive parents are often required to go through psychological evaluation.

This evaluation will consist of a thorough clinical interview as well as administration of psychological tests to understand your current level of psychological functioning.

Each adoption organization has its own set of requirements for the adoption evaluation so testing may alter based on the documentation needed by the specific organization you are working with!

  • Various mental health conditions can create difficulties traveling, living independently, and socializing. The company of an emotional support animal can help. ESA evaluations will assess eligibility to have your pet designated as an emotional support animal.

  • Assessments are one of the best ways to begin your career exploration! In order to gain a stronger understanding of who you are, your strengths and growth areas, I recommend a battery of career aptitude tests which will be followed by a virtual session where we discuss the implications of the results.
